Co-Workspace Management
Operator and member portals for co-working spaces
Overview
Co-Workspace Management is a dual-portal platform: operators run day-to-day workspace operations across locations, while members book rooms, manage their workspace, and track invoices — all from a unified, state-driven React/Next.js frontend.
Key Features
- Operator dashboard with calendar, location, and tenant management
- Multi-location resource and room booking system
- Member portal with booking timeline and workspace management
- Order processing, invoicing, and customer service ticketing
My Responsibilities
- Developed multiple frontend modules for operator and member portals, including dashboard, calendar, location management, tenant management, order processing, invoicing, and customer service tickets
- Built booking and resource management features to efficiently handle workspace reservations, room allocation, and resource availability across multiple locations
- Developed member portal functionality including workspace management, booking timeline, and member details
- Integrated REST APIs, implemented CRUD operations, and managed application state efficiently using Zustand
Challenges & Solutions
Booking availability had to stay consistent across multiple locations and overlapping time slots
Modeled availability as a normalized Zustand store keyed by location/resource, so conflicting bookings are caught client-side before hitting the API
Operator and member portals shared data but needed very different UI density
Split shared domain logic into hooks/services and kept presentation layers separate per portal, avoiding a bloated one-size-fits-all component set
Architecture
- Frontend
- Next.js App Router with feature-based module boundaries for operator vs member portals
- State
- Zustand for booking/resource state, colocated hooks for portal-specific logic
- Styling
- Tailwind CSS with a shared design system of Material UI components
- Testing
- Component-level checks on booking and invoicing edge cases

Technologies
This is an enterprise project built for a company I've worked with, so I'm not able to share source code or a live demo here — happy to walk through the code and architecture in person.
