Charge Point Operator
Real-time EV charging network management
Overview
Charge Point Operator is the internal console operators use to run a network of EV charging stations. It covers live station status, user access control, maintenance workflows, and invoicing — all built as a component-driven React application talking to a REST backend.
Key Features
- Live station management dashboard with status, uptime, and maintenance flags
- Role-based user access module for operators and field technicians
- Invoicing workflows tied to charging sessions
- Third-party integration hooks for payment and telemetry providers
My Responsibilities
- Developed multiple frontend modules including station management, user access, and invoicing
- Implemented CRUD operations with efficient state management using Redux
- Wrote unit and UI test cases using Jest and React Testing Library for better reliability
- Followed component-based architecture for a scalable UI and enforced code quality through reviews
Challenges & Solutions
Station status needed to feel real-time without hammering the API
Centralized polling with Redux-managed cache invalidation, so only stale station records refetch instead of the whole list
Invoicing screens had deeply nested, reusable form logic
Extracted shared form primitives and validation into composable components, cutting duplicated logic across invoicing flows
Architecture
- Frontend
- React with a component-based, feature-folder architecture
- State
- Redux for shared/cross-module state, local state for isolated UI
- Styling
- Tailwind CSS utility classes with Material UI for complex form controls
- Testing
- Jest + React Testing Library covering critical CRUD and invoicing flows

Technologies
This is an enterprise project built for a company I've worked with, so I'm not able to share source code or a live demo here — happy to walk through the code and architecture in person.
